1. The Iraqi League of Foodstuff Merchants (Registration no. ID1342) is a non-Governmental organization that had been established in 2003. The League is concerned with foodstuff merchants’ interests, business affairs, trading activities and cares for their social and professional rights in Iraq.
2. In the end of 2009 the number of the members joined the league exceeded 750 of senior foodstuff merchants with various specialties at various foodstuff businesses and profusions.
3. The goal of the league is to form a strong trading body regarding foodstuff business which to be established on basis of optimal planning, operation and management of this vital important sector according to the requirements of the Iraqi society and public needs.
